For customers staying at hotels or resorts, we deliver directly to the front desk, bell stand, or another approved delivery area based on the property’s policy.
Contactless Deliveries
All of our pricing includes delivery and collection of rented equipment to your hotel or residence where you are staying in Virginia Beach. When staying at a hotel, we will leave the equipment with the front desk. For mobility scooters, the key will be waiting for you with front desk personnel. When your rental is complete, leave the equipment in the same place we delivered it and hand the key to the front desk.
In Sandbridge, we deliver Beach Wheelchairs prior to your arrival. Included is a combination lock, look out for the code in your confirmation email. When your rental is complete, leave the equipment in the same place we delivered it.
The Sandhelper has a lock box with the key inside. When your rental is complete, leave the equipment in the same place we delivered it with key inside the lock box.
Yes. Beach Power Mobility rents and delivers mobility scooters to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Many customers use our scooters for the boardwalk, hotels, restaurants, shops, events, and nearby attractions. We recommend reserving early during summer, holiday weekends, and major event weekends.

Beach wheelchairs are designed to help customers travel over sand more easily than a standard wheelchair or mobility scooter.
No. Standard mobility scooters are not designed to drive on soft sand. Driving a regular scooter on the beach can cause it to get stuck or damaged. For sand access, Beach Power Mobility recommends a beach wheelchair or electric beach wheelchair like the Sandhelper designed for beach conditions.
Cancellation Policy: We will give you a full refund minus the cancellation fee of $15 for orders under $100, $29 for orders over $100 as long as you cancel 48 hrs prior to delivery date. There are no refunds if canceled less than 48 hrs prior to delivery date..
Our mobility scooters like the GoGo and HD Victory 10 are not allowed on the Sand, just hard surfaces. If you want to drive on the beach, check out the Sandhelper, it allows you to independently drive on the beach.
Our De-Bug Beach Wheelchair rentals should have limited hard surface usage. Trips from the hotel to the beach and back are ok. The De-Bug Beach Wheelchairs are not for extended use on surfaces other than the beach.
The Terra-Wheels Beach Wheelchair is ok for us on all surfaces and terrain.
